Love Without Boundaries

During our Prep for Marriage class based in our home church of Munster, IN we encountered many couples that have been able to express love for the long haul.  Still, we met one couple that took our breath away!  No only did they make us take a double take but they took their love to the next level.  This showed an amazing depth of love towards one another; that made a permanent impression on our hearts as well as the entire class. 

Towards the end of every session of each class we ask each couple to provide a Mission Statement.  We wanted each couple to let us know what their marriage will stand for and how they plan to allow their marriage to become a shining billboard of success and what God intended marriage to be.  

When it was Chris and Porche's turn to present their Mission Statement and to how they intended  love as long as they both shall live...".  

They told us plain and simple, "we are going to love each other like we created the word".  It was profound!   As instructors we were empowered by the meaning of it.  

We felt, like this couple provided a new way to look at love.  It energized us!  Just as love has done for centuries!  It completed us!  A universal way to view love just as God has done for everyone one of us on this earth.  It showed an unfailing love, an endless love, a love that recognizes "Hey you're not perfect and I'm not perfect...but  we are perfect for each other under the sight of God.  We will make it.  We will work it out.  We understand, there will be tough times, there will be challenges, there will be obstacles that we must overcome but if God is for us than nothing can come against us.

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therfore with lovingkindness I have drawn you".

To love boundlessly, without limitations or without preconceived notions is FREEDOM.  It literally draws you in.  It is not infatuation-it is mesmerizing when you understand just how much God loves you.  When you have been loved right then you can love better!  You are free to love.  Not worrying if your heart is protected, nor building walls around your heart but having the liberty to love.  

1 John 4:18 (NKJV)

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.  But he who fears has not been made perfect in love."

It is the same as looking at the truth square on.  It is perfect love.  We ALL know love like this and we have learned from the very best.  The true creator of the word Love.  Our Father in heaven.  He loves us in excellence!  There are no strings attached, it everlasting, its comfortable, it's all encompassing, it's peaceful and it all ours...and we don't even have to ask for it.  

So let's love, like HE created the word...because HE did.
